Jasiri Network is a vibrant community of professionals committed to fostering leadership, innovation, and collaboration across various industries. As a rapidly growing network, Jasiri recognized the need to evolve its brand identity to better reflect its values and aspirations. Our mission was to craft a cohesive and modern brand identity that would resonate with their diverse audience and support their continued growth.

Challenge
Jasiri Network experienced rapid growth in its first year, but a fragmented brand image hindered its ability to attract and engage a broader audience. To unify its visual identity and support continued expansion into new spaces, a strategic rebrand was necessary to strengthen Jasiri’s competitive position and ensure cohesive brand presence across all platforms.

Solution
We began by conducting an in-depth analysis of Jasiri Network’s current brand, audience, and market positioning. This research laid the foundation for our rebrand strategy, which focused on creating a visual identity that was bold, dynamic, and versatile.

Deliverables

Logo:

Our goal was to design a logo that embodies the stories of bravery, determination, courage, and success that resonate with Jasiri Network's audience, primarily from the African diaspora. Inspired by the name "Jasiri," meaning "Bold" or "Brave" in Swahili, we incorporated elements of the Maasai warrior shield, spear, and Maasai beaded jewelry—timeless symbols of courage and valor—into the brand mark. This new logo aims to capture the indomitable spirit of entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs from the African diaspora.

Color Palette:
A fresh, vibrant color palette was developed to convey energy, growth, and professionalism. The colors were carefully chosen to ensure they work well both in print and digital formats.

Typography:
We selected a typeface that balances modernity with readability, ensuring that all communication is clear and impactful.

Brand Pattern:
We developed a unique brand pattern derived from the brand mark's motif to infuse a distinct visual element into Jasiri’s communications, thereby enhancing brand recognition.

We designed a set of customizable templates for social media posts, ensuring that Jasiri’s online presence remains consistent and visually engaging.

Event Banner Templates:
To support Jasiri’s numerous events, we created banner templates that are adaptable for different themes and purposes, maintaining brand consistency across all events.

Event Poster Templates:
We also provided a suite of poster templates that can be used for promoting various events, ensuring that all promotional materials are on-brand.

Outcome
The new brand identity for Jasiri Network has been met with enthusiastic approval from both the internal team and the network’s members/community. The updated visual identity system not only aligns with Jasiri’s mission but also enhances its ability to communicate effectively across multiple platforms.
